I almost let fear keep me from being a “Jane of all trades.” Looking back, I would have never become fluent in Spanish, had I not fully immersed myself in the Latino culture. Never would I have learned to manage an IT network infrastructure, had I not asked for tech to teach me. Also, I would never known of my affinity for acting, singing, voiceover or make up, had I not ventured into the account creative arts arena. Don’t be afraid to try new things…you never know what areas you’ll excel in until you explore.

It is important for cultures to learn histories such as this and have them realize the magnitude of what was lost in the recklessness of war, pillaging and any form of invasion. The past, confined as it is, in its deepest and most unsuspected corner across the time, defines the future as much what we do in the present.
